Huge Ass Beers To Go

Bourbon Street Tries Again

The French Quarter maybe had a couple hundred people in it, and they all had huge ass beers.

Two nights later, along this sidewalk a couple of blocks away, Robert Davis got beaten by the police.

I guess the French Quarter really is getting back to normal.

I am sorry about the disaster in New Orleans. I have been through a tornado. Your photos really help others understand the devastation. I hope things get better soon.

Dear Clayton;

FEMA says "Won't you let me take you on a sea cruise" Maybe your mom can move back closer to home. If FEMA can find her again that is. Check this out; http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2005/09/28/MNGF8EUVAT1.DTL

That should frost ya. It did me.

Is it just me or is there something just a little wrong with the beer being back on tap but clean water for everyone isn't yet??????

I wonder what the line is between giant beers, 40s, and huge ass beers?

All that's missing there is the "Jesus Saves" guys that stand next to him.

Man, I know what it means to miss New Orleans, and I wish to hell I didn't.

the links to that beating are gruesome and not for the faint at heart. it just kills me to think that things could continue to get worse.

Amen brother, amen. Even though I know its just tore up, even though I know I would be sad to see all that is gone, I'd still go in a heartbeat man, in a frickin heartbeat.

I lived in New Orleans until March of 2001, most of my family is there. My Uncle who lived in Waveland, Mississippi was the most affected. For awhile we thought he didn't make it, he tryed to ride out the storm. He lost everything, his home and everything in it was washed away. I'm glad your family is safe. Your blog strikes a cord with me..keep up the good work.
